How To Listen To Radio Freedom


How to tune in and listen to Radio Freedom in 2 easy steps

Step 1: Get Winamp
If you don't have winamp, get it from here: Winamp Lite
Once you have it installed, keep it as your default Mp3 player

Step 2: Click the winamp icon on our website.

IRC Client Help


First we need to have you get an irc client like mIRC. It is a must for dj'ing here. It can be found at www.mirc.com

Download it. Install it. Open it and set it up to connect to Radio Freedom.
To do this, you go to the word file top left, than to options, than to connections.
There you push add and put in Radio Freedom information.

Description: Radio-Freedom
IRC Server: chat.radio-freedom.co.uk
Port(s): 6667
Group: RadioFreedom
Password: ( This may be left blank)


After you have connected to Radio Freedom you type /join #freedom
This will bring you into the channel same as the web site did.

You may add channel #freedom to your channel list and make it an auto join channel.
To do this you push Alt J
Fill in this information
Channel: #freedom
Description: Radio-Freedom's Chat Room
Network: Choose RadioFreedom

Check the box that says, Auto-join channel on connect

If you have chosen to do this and set it up correctly,
it will pop you directly into channel when you connect mirc.
